All Clear

This will be a short one. I had my appointment with an internist yesterday to go over test results and to make sure my body is good to go for this major surgery. I’ll be honest, I was thinking the worst when I went in. I mean, really, anyone who is in this situation probably thinks the same way. I thought for sure something bad was going to come up. The appointment was scheduled to be 45 minutes long. But I was in and out in 15 minutes. At the end of the appointment, he gave me the “all-clear” to have the surgery. Yay!! Next up is the scope on Wednesday to see what this esophageal web is all about. I’m not too nervous about it though. I’m sure it isn’t anything to worry about. I feel like this time has flown by! I’m hoping I’ll get a call to schedule surgery soon.
